Hair, makeup, girly dresses and much more!

Actually the list goes beyond that. There's more to hair, makeup, girly dresses, and they are, shoes, clutches, accessories, eyebrows, shaved legs, contacts and much much more. These are the list of things we girls were concerned about for our graduation which was held 10 days ago.

Main Convent Graduation 2009
Date: 9th October 2009
Theme: Floral
Venue: Tower Regency, Ipoh
Fee: RM22 (food)

We girls talked about it for months. It's like a dream prom for us fifth formers. I have to say, this graduation is more of a fun get-together. We were dressed in our finest garbs with our prettiest of jewels and heels that kill, literally.

This was how I look on that day. Hair done by my cousin sister. Which means it was totally free of charge. I'd rather not spend money to go to some cheesy salon to get my hair all done in a Kraft-y manner. (Get it, the cheese brand, Kraft?) So if anyone likes it, and wants to get something similar, come to me to make an appointment on hair and makeup with my couz. XD. I love my hair. :D
My makeup is done by myself, though I have to say they weren't very nice. But once again, free of charge. haha. My heels were from Vincci and the rest were borrowed from my mama's. Hee. So actually in total, I spent about RM180 plus. including RM22 for food. My dress and heels are of the same price.

Hmm, I actually like how I look on that day. In fact, all of us were dressed to the nines. Everyone looked gorgeous.

The pictures are all over in Facebook. On that Friday itself, people started uploading that night after our function. The Highlights column in my homepage were filled with pictures with various titles bearing the Graduation.

Ramithaa! Voluptuous! :D

SY so sweet-looking right? She so lui yan di.
Maybe you can sing, 'You Belong With Me' to someone. Haha.

Aiseh, Eva so not cheesepuff here. Another one, surprisingly lui yan! XD

BAM! Oh I love this picture! Lol

The food was alright. But for RM22, I expect better food! Anyways, all of us were so hungry, we just rushed to the buffet table like hungry hyenas attacking on its innocent. The choices were not bad. For a hotel like Tower Regency, it's okay lah. Although I wished that they gave us more time because the servings were definitely not enough.

Our class performance, gone wrong later on.

BR's Jai Ho/Thriller dance. They won the Best Performance. They had so much fun, it was like a crime!

Even Mrs. Authar joined in the dance! LOL

My decent friends. From Cheah Kee whom I spent five years in the same class with, Krity for four years and SY for these two years. Good ol' friends. :)

Here comes the not-so-decent friend. Hahha, joking. The Sel Sel.

The uber-gorgeous Sab, my old primary school pal.

Bon Bon. :)

Syok sendiri with fellow Rangers.

Hui Ling in traditional Korean wear. I love this picture. I think it's the lighting. ;)

Tara and I, the two short stuffs in class. Hehe

Don't these two look gorgeous, rather than their usual silliness? Lol. While Sue Li looks on.

Stuck between the husband and wifey. Lol

Sui Ee, my Form One friend and till now as well. Miss her expressive antics. Lol.
And, I recognise those shoes.

The very normal, decent group picture.

Ha! Don't be surprised! So so love this picture man.

Later on, we walked to some Juice station for yum cha. Imagine, 7 girls dressed in fancy dresses, walked about more or less 500 metres from Tower Regency just for yum cha. We walked with confidence, despite the ongoing wolf whistles, strutting our way on the rough tar road with our high heels. The pain was excruciating but it was alot of fun! XD

The prices are pretty reasonable. I had some dragonfruit mix, priced at RM8.90! But not bad though.

And and and, I won an acoustic guitar from the lucky draw win! Hehehe. Thanks to my lucky number, 005, I got that which prompted me to learn some guitar skills after SPM. Like what Eva said, it's a sign that I should get a head start to be musically inclined.

The souvenir, a box. It's going to be another decorative item for me. Lol.

Trying to be a Taylor Swift wannabe.

If you could see that I'm the one who understands you,
Been here all along, so why can't you see?
You belong with me, you belong with me.....

I love that song till today. It really says what many girls are thinking. But sadly, some guys are too much of a dung-head to get it. Lol.

My current profile picture for Facebook. :)

I enjoyed Graduation so much. It's like the only day where I had SPM off my mind. From the trying of dresses, shoe shopping to makeup testing, it was a ball of fun. That was the last function for all of us. Although we were all dressed to impress, what's most important is the time we spent with our friends and the memories there were to reminisce. It's a nice thing to do before we all disperse to different parts of the world after we actually graduate from secondary school, after 11 years of formal education.

What a milestone. Looking at these pictures will definitely be a beautiful walk down the memory lane in the distant future...
