Wow, it has been one year plus since I had this Unit Leader post. And believe me, this has made my secondary school life the best it can be.
Enrolment was close to two weeks ago, on the 3rd October 2009. We had a small number of rangers enrolling this year compared to our batch. But anyhow, I can't control the statistics of members in Rangers.
The day started out rather blue. It was raining since early in the morning and didn't stop till about 9 am. I guess someone ought to sing, It's a rainy day today.. I'm gonna dance till I see the sun again...! Haha, okay. The damp atmosphere made me sleepy but I had to stay on for about 5 hours or so.
Our schedule was messed up because of the rain. So we started with performances first, then only the actual enrolment.

Thank God for it wasn't sunny. In fact, the damp weather made it all breezy. At least we don't sweat that much this time round.
Pn Kong, our retired teacher advisor and also a much loved figure in the guiding society of Main Convent. After all that, we were getting ready on how to handover our post we hold so dearly to.
The creative artwork we churned out. Mabel's idea, of course. We were to draw our respective successors onto a piece of paper in a rather comical way for our handover. As seen above, the results are totally guffaw-out-loud.
One of the Best Ranger; Chee Cheah Kee. Cheah Kee, I'm thankful for your existence in Rangers and Coy and also as a nice friend of mine. :)Look at those SS people behind us. Hahahahaha. LOL@ Eva's expression.
Revealing the next exco board. By blindfolding all of them and sticking our respective artworks on the chosen ones. Oh how I wish last year's was that fun! Lol.And finally, the new board of 4th Unit Rangers 2009/2010!

Ahli-ahli Renjer 2009 got many more actually). Jane can't be seen so she has to lift her arms up high to get some attention. Lol.

Gosh, we're old!One year passed like a gush of wind. Chilly yet breezy. Much like the experience for most of us in Rangers. Particularly to the leaders. It was definitely a bittersweet experience. But more of the sweet ones.
In a whole, this wraps up my entire guiding life in Main Convent. From Form 1 till now, there's never a stop where I could take a break from it all. I just keep myself busy. It's all worth it I have to say. I can't imagine myself not being active in guiding. It's like asking a cow not to moo. There's certainly a lot of memories. This definitely added much colour and different hues to my now very patterned fabric of life. I learnt alot throughout this whole process. I will definitely miss it. Now it's time for the new exco board to shine and do their thing. Hopefully all that hassle of carefully selecting the new board for the past few months is worth while.
Meanwhile, I'm just awaiting for the farewell and more gatherings to come. Hehehe.
The 14 rocks and so does T.R.R. gathering!
Say YES to T.R.R.
Say YES to change.
