January was Yesterday

January was yesterday (I started posting on Feb 1st!) . 31 days, and those days had been a whirlwind. An awesome whirlwind, that is. ;)

Technically whirlwinds are rough. It's a destructive force of nature. As for me, it's the beginning of a new year, and having to have to sort things out, I tend to stress myself up. So it was pretty tough for me. A new year, a new beginning for some. Having to deal with these, yeah it was tough. But I sailed through!

As to why it was an awesome whirlwind.... Well, I would thank The Arts. So far in January, two Sundays back-to-back, I went and appreciated The Arts. I went to watch Someone Who'll Watch Over Me, and it was brilliant. Thank god I didn't skip that one out. And the next Sunday, I went to the KLPac Open Day.

I heard about this before, and since I'm in KL, I shouldn't miss the opportunity and be a KLPac Virgin.

KLPac Open Day 2011 was nice. It's free arts for all. What more is there to ask? Basically there were live performances, workshops, anything performing arts. You get the flow.. Plenty of people, arty farty people. We went for the KLPac's Got Talent show, and there were amazing performances from the participants. There was a solo personality-impersonator, a pianist, dancers, yada yada. So much talent under one roof! Getting there was a hassle though, by public transportation. We were wondering like lost souls. Haha. But walking burns calories. Huff huff!

I seem to be so interested in immersing myself with arts-related things. Which is good, it enhances the brain and let creative juices flow. Besides going out more than usual, so many interesting encounters happened! And because of my 'outings', and some really typical teenage attitude, I hereby pronounce that I'm no longer a goody-two-shoe. HA! Since when I ever was?? *cackles*

Before I forget, GONG XI FA CAI to all that are celebrating! I haven't got the time to complete my actual January post, so I'll just update what I can. As I type, we're getting ready to go to my grandma's for dinner. The usual second-day CNY routine.

Anyhoo, January oh January. You've been amazing. I tweeted a couple of times how I wish February is as awesome as you. I really do. For once, I was actually slightly dampen cause I had to leave KL for two weeks. So many could've happened in 14 days. I miss going out with awesome people, chillin', and talking about life in general.

Can't wait to go back to lifelessness and inside jokes. That actually sounded more fun for real. Heeeees. 10 more days peebles! And college, I'll be backkkkkkkkk!

Great! You're an 'arts' person as well, but, I'm not surprised. You seem like one anyhow. Heh.
Do drop by in KL, if you can! :D
