I really did not see it coming. I thought it was just one of Mabel's many video projects! Very well planned Mabes. Totally was not expecting such a dedication! When I played the video, these short footage of my friends, I can't help but to go aww all the way. Such a nice and simple thought. I miss you girls, Mabes, Eva, Sook Yee, Jane, Yean Kit, Kelly, Deborah and Jia Moon.

I so did not see them coming at all, either. I was shocked and in awe when the first one came about, then the second one was uploaded! I would say I'm more touched at the first one due to the surprise (never, ever, ever would've guessed the dedication), and the second one I'm more flattered. HEE. But much love girls, much love.
The mastermind behind all these has got to be Mabes, and of course with lovely inserts by the girls. We were all gathered at the Ngoi residence last Monday to give Eva a surprise. And at the same time, we did this video thingy. But as for now, let's talk about Eva's first!
EVA'S SURPRISE
I got messages from a few of them regarding a certain surprise we were to do for le Eva. As I was back in town, it would be a good meet up, some said. That rainy Monday night, eight 19 year-old girls gathered outside of the Racing Circle Residences, where le soon-to-be-surprised-girl lives. We were in two parked cars, opposite each other, awaiting for something to happen.
The mastermind behind the surprise was Jane. And the drama queen she is, a story was spun to get le Eva out of her house. At about 2000 hours we were camped out, Jane, Mabel, Sook Yee, Kelly, Jia Moon, Deborah and myself. The mission began with Jane making a call; a rather distress one to Eva to get her out for le surprise.
Eva, who was showering at that time, rushed out to the 'distressed' Jane only to be surprised by the bunch. It was raining, and she came out, dressed in simple home clothes with an umbrella in hand, and we ran towards the celebrated one, 'ambushing' with hugs and presents and thrills of joy of having all your girlfriends surprise you like that. Oh Eva, your facial expression was priceless.
I mean, such a thoughtful act. One can't help but to grab a Kleenex and sob in aww's, ooh's and ahh's.
When we were all settled and Eva finally grasping the fact that this was all planned out, and also because both her parents were aware of it and played along with us, she was in awe, and still was till the end of the night. Good game plan, people.
We spent our time kss-ing, after like god knows how long since we last met. Well at least for me, because all of them are doing their Form Six, and I'm 200km away in KBU. So nice to see em Ipoh homies, and even though we don't see each other that often, it's nice to catch up with the girls. Besides that, some of them were busy dolling up because Mabes was doing some sort of project, where she's going to interview all of us, individually.
Project it seems, sneaky Mabel.. Haha
She did interview all of us, including myself. At first thought, I reckon it was some sort of time capsule, or some fancy video thingy that she wants to do. It is Mabel after all, and the creative side of her never stops at the bare necessities.
This was the winning NIE video entitled Stereotyping. Really good direction, definitely doesn't seem like a high-school student's work. :)
Obviously I was looking forward to see what she had compiled from the interview footage. She even texted and asked for permission to post it on Youtube! Little did I know...
First Surprise
When I first saw it, I was having a kleenex moment! I did not anticipate it at all, I really thought it was some fancy schmancy thing that Mabel does.. Still very much surprised while viewing it throughout the 5:49 minute video, I was in tears and in awe. The thought never crossed my mind with such dedication. <3 you girls.
Such a nicely-put video, with soft background music. Simple, and nice. Their answers, from Sook Yee's inability to mouth the word 'boobs' at that time, to the juxtaposition of Deb's and Kelly's answer as to what animal I'd resemble; Tiger and Chipmunk.
As you go on, you'd notice, or rather I feel that it's more of a funny one than a touching video because of the little quirks I see that really makes me miss and love my friends more. And the answers and reactions, nothing beats that.
That is until the inception of the second video being uploaded. Omg, more surprises?! :DDD
Second Surprise
Hahaha, at risk of sounding like I'm flattering myself, but Sook Yee can't seem to get away with the whole Angelyn's boobs topic. It is like a recurring topic; my boobs! LOL.
I love it when Jane said, "She's a pure Convent girl!"
To be honest, I don't know how that relates to me being myself, but the way she said it, spells Jane all over. :D
Why I like the second video (I loved the first one too), but this one I was laughing throughout because I can see the girls' personalities all over the video. It's so nice to meet up with all of you, that's already sufficient, but with these dedication is more than enough. Of course, I loved it. I loved them both. I miss ya'll so much, I demand for a Slut LM right now. Now now now.
Very nice thought. Such a lovely dedication and to see all of ya'll. People! We are now immortalized through Youtube thanks to Mabel's cekap video thingys. ;)
This is better than any gift or surprise. Virtual and everlasting. I will remember this for a very long time as how I will remember all of you, each and every one individual.
